Last updated: February 20, 2026

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Bloodly ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information you provide when using the Bloodly mobile application. By using Bloodly, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Guest Mode (No Account)

When you use Bloodly without signing in, all your data — including blood pressure records and app settings — is stored exclusively on your device. We do not collect or transmit any personal information in this mode.

Registered Users

When you create an account and sign in, the following information is stored on our servers:

  • Email address (used for authentication)
  • Unique user identifier
  • Name (optional — only if you choose to provide it)
  • Blood pressure records (systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, heart rate, and optional notes)
  • App settings and preferences

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect solely to provide and operate the Bloodly app. Specifically, your data is used to:

  • Sync your blood pressure records across your devices
  • Associate your records with your account
  • Save your settings and preferences across sessions

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or analytics. Bloodly is free of ads and subscriptions.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on our servers. We implement appropriate technical measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Guest users' data never leaves their device.

Third-Party Services

Bloodly does not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal data to any third parties. We do not use third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, or crash reporting services.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time — either from within the app or by contacting us directly. Once deleted, your data is permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.

Children's Privacy

Bloodly is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Bloodly after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
